EnDura® V91A

Ultra-low temperature ED resistant fluoroelastomer for the oilfield industry

Recognising the demanding challenges in the oil and gas exploration and extraction industry, PPE has developed the most technically advanced range of elastomer materials to meet the needs of sealing applications operating in the most severe conditions.

The EnDura® range of elite materials has been specifically formulated for Explosive Decompression (ED) resistance in downhole, surface and subsea oilfield equipment.

Key Attributes:

- V91A provides the ultimate in low temperature performance, combined with excellent ED resistance.

- Excellent Explosive Decompression resistance at temperatures down to -46°C (-51°F).

- Tested to Norsok M-710 standard

- Tested to Total specification GS PVV 142 03/01

- Tested to NACE standards: TM0297 (ED) & TM0187 (Sour Gas)

- Improved resistance to methanol, sour gas, hot water, steam and oils as compared with conventional FKM compounds

EnDura® V91K

High performance ED resistant fluoroelastomer for the oilfield industry

EnDura® V91K provides good low temperature performance, combined with excellent ED resistance.

EnDura® E90SR

High temperature steam resistant EPDM

A high temperature, steam resistant, EPDM elastomer material designed for geothermal applications including pumps, valves, turbines, drilling tools and equipment. In addition to geothermal applications.

EnDura® E90SR may be used in steam applications for enhanced oil recovery and general purpose high temperature hot water and steam applications.

EnDura® E90SR offers a maximum temperature rating in anaerobic steam up to 288°C (550°F), and may be used in short durations up to 315°C (600°F) in steam. This performance greatly exceeds standard EPDM materials.

EPDM provides broad chemical resistance to polar fluids, however E90SR is not recommended for hydrocarbon based oils and fuels. The material has been tested for explosive decompression resistance in carbon dioxide to NACE TM0297-97.

EnDura® Z95X

High performance ED resistant HNBR for the oilfield industry

Z95X is a peroxide-cured, explosive decompression resistant HNBR compound.

Z95X provides good chemical resistance to sour gas (H2S), crude oil, lubricating agents, and oil additives, with superior resistance to carbon dioxide, water, drilling mud and amine corrosion inhibitors.

The EnDura range of elite materials has been specifically developed for Explosive Decompression (ED) resistance in downhole, surface and subsea oilfield equipment.

The high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance of Z95X makes it particularly suitable for dynamic applications.

EnDura® Z85L

Low temperature hydrogenated nitrile rubber for the oilfield industry

Z85L is a peroxide-cured, HNBR compound specially developed for service in low temperature applications.

The high mechanical strength of Z85L provides excellent wear and abrasion resistant properties when used in dynamic applications.

Its broad chemical resistance makes Z85L ideal for use with sour gas (H2S), crude oil, carbon dioxide and operating fluids including lubricators, drilling mud, oil additives and amine corrosion inhibitors.

EnDura® A90H

Aflas® based ED resistant rubber for the oilfield industry

A90H is a high performance, explosive decompression resistant, elastomer formulated using Aflas® FA-100H for the demanding sealing applications experienced in the oil and gas exploration and extraction industry.

A90H exhibits similar thermal stability to fluoroelastomer (FKM) grades but offers a different chemical resistance profile.

A90H provides particularly high resistance to acids, amines, steam, brine, sour oil and gas (H2S).

- Resistant to high pressure CO2 gas

- Ideal for prolonged exposure to steam

- Short-term high temperature capability up to 290°C (554°F)

Perlast® G92E

ED resistant perfluoroelastomer for the oilfield industry

Understanding the demanding challenges in the oil and gas exploration and extraction industry, PPE offers the most technically advanced range of elastomer materials to meet the needs of sealing applications operating in the most severe conditions.

Perlast® G92E is part of the EnDura® range of elite materials which have been specifically formulated for Explosive Decompression (ED) resistance in downhole, surface and subsea oilfield equipment.

Perlast® G92E offers exceptional chemical compatibility, combined with excellent thermal and ED resistance.

Key Attributes:

- Excellent Explosive Decompression resistance.

- Tested to NACE TM0297 standard.

- Tested up to 28 MPa (4000psi) in nitrogen at 150°C (302°F) for 120 hours, and decompressed over 20 minutes: excellent results with no cracks or blistering.

- Exceptional resistance to methanol, sour gas, hot water, steam and oils, beyond that of conventional TFE/P (Aflas®) and FKM polymers.

- Excellent compression set provides long-term sealing capability and improved leak prevention thus minimizing equipment failure.

Perlast® ICE G90LT

Low temperature, ED resistant, perfluoroelastomer

Perlast® ICE G90LT offers a unique combination of excellent chemical resistance, explosive decompression resistance and low temperature capability down to -46°C (-51°F).

Perlast® ICE G90LT has been formulated to provide excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals by carefully controlling the molecular architecture. In addition, this perflouroelastomer has a low permeability and as a result, it is less prone to swelling, leading to extended in-service performance in valves, pumps and mechanical seals.

Ideal for use in exploration and completion applications and equipment operating or stored in sub-zero conditions.

Perlast® ICE G90LT is suitable for both dynamic and static applications and can be fully moulded into O-rings (any size up to 2.5m/8ft internal diameter) and custom shapes.

- Tested to NORSOK M710 standard

- Exceptional resistance to methanol, sour gas, hot water, steam, oils, acids and amines beyond that of conventional TFE/P (Aflas®) and FKM polymers

EnDura® Z90LT

Low temperature ED resistant HNBR for the oilfield industry

EnDura® Z90LT is a peroxide cured hydrogenated nitrile elastomer compound specially developed for high pressure applications to reduce the risk of rapid gas decompression seal failure and maintain resilience at low temperatures.

Z90LT has been specifically developed for Explosive Decompression (ED) resistance and meets the requirements of the industry standards ISO 23926-2 and NORSOK M710 unlike conventional low temperature HNBR materials. This unique combination of properties enables Z90LT to be used in many types of oilfield equipment.

Applications include valves, downhole tools, drill bits, subsea equipment, wellhead, and other surface equipment.
